Arshia
Reached 3 NGOs across India and contributed to 30% of artisans' income.
“Ekatra”
Project Ekatra, founded by Arshia at age 15, preserves India’s traditional textile crafts while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and neurodivergent artisans. Collaborating with NGOs in Mumbai and Delhi and independent Kashmiri embroiderers, it has engaged 35 artisans. Its business arm, Studio Loomshine, brings Jaipur block printing and Kashmiri embroidery into contemporary products, connecting heritage craftsmanship with new audiences. Ekatra has showcased its work through three pop-ups, including Dubai’s Ripe Market. A mobile application under development aims to support artisan training, production management, financial tracking and marketplace access, strengthening the connection between cultural preservation and economic opportunity.
